Handyman (Great Bend area)
We are looking for a dependable and versatile Handyman to undertake a variety of repair tasks for our customer's homes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repair tasks on residential properties.
- Handle basic landscaping and outdoor maintenance duties.
- Paint and finish surfaces to ensure a polished appearance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide cost estimates.
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform various tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

What you'll be doing:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Prospect and contact potential customers.
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments on their project.
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields. Roofing and/or Solar sales a big plus
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Clean driving record and valid Driver's license
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong negotiation skills
